Spring is here, sort of. I want to get my motorcycle out enjoy the weather that we will see one day. Before I do that, I really need to rebuild my carbs. I had a guy look at them last year. He got them sort of cleaned up, but I would feel better with a complete teardown, thorough cleaning, and rebuild.
Of course to do all this, I have been shaving yaks every weekend for the past month. My wife and I moved into this house last summer so the garage is not setup yet. First, I built a shop table for the garage. Then, I got my wife’s ‘76 Bettle tuned up so it could be out of my way in the garage. Next, I started getting my work area in order. Now, I am running two 20A lines out there because the one 15A won’t cut it with an air compressor and the other little toys I will need.
But I couldn’t let all that get in the way of taking off the carbs.
